The intersection of luxury and innovation achieves a thrilling crescendo with the collaboration between aviation titan Bombardier and the iconic designer brand Elie Saab. Renowned for their contributions to the red carpet and an elite clientele, they are now breaking new ground in aircraft interiors. Elie Saab Jr., CEO of the Elie Saab Group, notes, “We share a mutual customer base and seek to provide an unparalleled experience for them, no matter where they are.”
Saab, who has long been a loyal customer, has always envisioned designing a Bombardier jet, deeply connected to his childhood aviation experiences. This partnership marks a historic moment in private aviation, where for the first time, a major aircraft manufacturer offers a high-design interior as an option. This is particularly true for the expansive cabins of Bombardier’s exceptional Global 8000 series, introduced in December 2025.

Already heralded as the fastest civil aircraft since the Concorde, with a record flight time of just over six hours from Montreal to Nice, the Global 8000 is not just about performance; it also exudes sophistication. Its opulent sand-hued palette, complemented by sumptuous tactile fabrics on Bombardier’s signature Nuage seats, creates an atmosphere of serene elegance. Unique features include:
- A five-seat divan sofa
- His-and-hers walk-in closets
- A stunning bathroom featuring dramatic Patagonia stone

Elie Saab describes the ambiance, saying, “It feels like a small cocoon, a universe where one can find peace and a touch of elegance.” The design further replicates the feel of a luxury residence, seamlessly integrating a stateroom leading into a closet and culminating in an impressive bathroom. Saab adds, “Our aim was to provide a layout that might surprise even seasoned business jet owners.”

Subtle logos, almost imperceptible, contribute a layer of exclusivity, while a custom geometric bird motif adorns various elements such as bulkhead marquetry, carpets, and cushions, reflecting Bombardier’s engineering triumphs. Éric Martel, Bombardier’s president and CEO, underscores the significance of their advanced wing design, stating, “The distinct wing differentiates Bombardier from other aircraft, enabling access to roughly 30% more airports. Performance and comfort are paramount, and this abstract bird logo encapsulates that philosophy.”
With options for two configurations—three or four zones—the exquisite Elie Saab interior is now an available choice for all new Global 8000 aircraft and those seeking to upgrade their Global 7500 models.
