Jason Momoa has added a contemporary flair to one of the most iconic pre-war racing cars, bringing it into a new era of automotive design.
Momoa’s Unique Collaboration
Renowned for his roles in Aquaman, Game of Thrones, and Dune, the American actor partnered with Hedley Studios to create an extraordinary electric version of the legendary Bentley Blower.
The Classic Reimagined
Formerly known as the Little Car Company, the British workshop collaborates with prestigious brands, including Aston Martin, Bentley, Bugatti, and Ferrari, to produce scaled electric replicas of classic automobiles. This remarkable piece draws inspiration from the 1929 Bentley 4.5-liter Supercharged Team Car No. 2—also known as the “Blower”—which notably participated in the 1930 Le Mans race.
Specifications of the Bentley Blower Jnr
This custom Bentley Blower Jnr is designed at 85% of the original size and features an electric powertrain that provides 15 kW (20 hp), allowing for a maximum speed of 45 mph and a range of around 65 miles on a single charge. Momoa’s edition includes over 100 specially manufactured components.

Distinctive Features
The car boasts a unique exterior completed in a custom shade of red, aptly named “Momoa Crimson,” complemented by brass details that are designed to acquire a natural patina, enhancing its vintage appeal while housing modern technology.
Numerous sentimental elements adorn this four-wheeler. The dashboard is crafted from the prized Koa wood of Hawaii, celebrating Momoa’s roots, while the numeral “666” features prominently on both the radiator and license plate as a nod to his grandfather, affectionately known as “El Diablo.” Additional highlights include a bespoke skull-shaped drive selector, meticulously hand-carved from a solid block of brass over the span of 100 hours, and a distinct “Momoa 1 of 1” badge.
A Vision Realized
“Collaborating with Jason on this endeavor has been an immense joy,” commented Ben Hedley, founder of Hedley Studios. “He had a vivid vision for what he wanted, ensuring the car became a unique expression of his heritage: from his grandfather’s story to the antiqued brass detailing, the special paint color, and the wooden dashboard from his birthplace.”
Craftsmanship on Display
Momoa’s custom Blower was meticulously handcrafted at Hedley’s atelier in Bicester, with the project prominently featured in the second season of On the Roam. This documentary series showcases the Hawaii native’s travels around the world, where he encounters innovative creators spanning various fields, from sports to music and automotive craftsmanship. In this latest season, Momoa further transformed two of his Land Rovers and three Harley-Davidson bikes into electric vehicles, available for viewing on HBO Max and Discovery+.
