The hospitality landscape is buzzing with activity as never before, with an unprecedented surge in five-star hotel developments. As of late 2025, over 1,300 projects were underway, reflecting an 8% increase year-on-year, according to Lodging Econometrics.
As demand for top-tier accommodations intensifies, competition is fierce. Highlighting distinctiveness has become crucial, and a select few hotels have emerged victorious. Out of many, only 16 properties earned the prestigious Best of the Best title. These range from urban retreats to lavish resorts and private villas.
